Carbonlites is a company that is dedicated to creating a circular economy by converting waste into valuable products. They operate a 40-ton waste-to-renewable energy plant in Malur, Karnataka, in collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers.

The plant produces Carbonlites – India’s first branded bottled Bio-CNG, which is a clean and green alternative to fossil fuels. Carbonlites can be used for cooking, transportation, or power generation, and it is 100% carbon-neutral in use. Carbonlites also helps customers save money, as it is cheaper than LPG and other conventional fuels.

But that’s not all. Carbonlites also manufactures Carbonlites Organic Fertilizer, which is made from the organic residue of the waste-to-energy process. This fertilizer is cost-effective and eco-friendly, as it helps farmers replace harmful chemical fertilizers and improve soil health. Carbonlites Organic Fertilizer has been tested and certified by the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) and the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore.

To complete the cycle, Carbonlites operates India’s (and quite possibly the world’s) largest carbon-neutral fleet of trucks that are used to pick up waste and deliver fuel to their customers. These trucks run on Bio-CNG produced by Carbonlites, and they reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution.

Carbonlites is a pioneer in the field of waste management and renewable energy in India. They have been recognized by various awards and accolades, such as the National Award for Excellence in Energy Management by CII, the Skoch Order of Merit Award for Smart Waste Management, and the Mahindra Rise Award for Sustainability.
